Blogging 101 — Day 13

Blogging 101—Day 13 – Advocacy

Hi,

I have chosen an alternate path for this assignment. Part of my stated mandate for my Author Page https://hwbrycewrites.com in connection with my upcoming book “Chasing a Butterfly,” poems about Alzheimer’s and Care Giving, was to make the transition from care giver to advocate. Because my 12 stages of care giving led me to this point.

I hope it is all right to mention this because that IS what my site is all about. ALSO, this is not the only area of interest that I hold.

I hope this doesn’t break the rules @michelleweber, this mentioning of my book project.

I just wasn’t keen on joining a regular challenge from the prompts. I have far too much ground to cover already, and I couldn’t find an appropriate group to join in the prompts. Sorry.

So instead, I searched for Alzheimer’s blogs. That led me to a string of sites, and I landed on one via the U.S. Alzheimer’s.org site, and through there to a sign up to help prevent Alzheimer’s. Stage 2 of my advocacy. Stage 1 is my local advocacy attempts.

Gee, already I’ve received a newsletter from Alzheimer’s Prevention. And I haven’t even posted yet. I hope to meet some blogging buddies through this source.

Note: Still fiddling with my theme. Hate all this fussing, and I can’t find a suitable theme that really works for me.

Anyway, happy blogging to you all. Cheers for now.
