To Understanding and acceptance

 H. W. Bryce

I was drawn to the article, by title,

by description; by words.

I went there. I was fascinated.

I went to her personal page…

She was black.

I did not know that.

However, her words were like gold dust,

And so, I learned that the content is who

She is, and people are; not their looks

Or color or occupations or ethnicity.

So judge not the person by the looks they present;

Read their inner book, appreciate the content.

Everyone has something of value to offer.

Inside, under the skin, you will find a beating

Heart, stock full of love and generosity, caring,

Humility, and all of the emotions of you and

Of me, such sameness as to shame the very

Thought of

Prejudice or demeaning or bullying or rejecting,

For an extended hand need never be rejected

For the lack of a shake.

Inside are rivers of blood, the life force of the

Body, and inside of the head are profound ideas

And plans

To build that better future, the new society where

All are truly equal and respected and honoured

For who they are.

For each and every one of us is of value, and each

And every one of us crave to share and to learn

From you,

Don’t you know?

Be a reader. A reader of Souls, where the Truth lies

Waiting to be found, or rescued from neglect or

The smotheration of hate and discrimination and the

Lack of clear thinking.

Read my content. I am here to be shared.

I am more than the sum of my parts.

I am Human! I am part of you. Please,

Take and shake my hand in common

Humanhood. Let us celebrate our content.
