Looking Back

Looking Back

Looking Back

The aromas echo…in the air.

The voices waft and linger…

And the memories feel of lovers

Who danced upon the strand.

Once, when I was younger,

And my voice was that much stronger,

I held you in my arms…

And you kissed me with your many charms.

We were young and full of danger,

Buffaloes out on a rampage

We tackled life so strong and bold,

like eager stallions

bucking against

all odds

And never thought that we’d grow old…

But old we’ve grown, and tame we are.

We’ve learned the wisdom, how to care…

The echos now speak up again,

Reminding us of what we

Did

to care

Becoming…

Us

The aromas, they echo through the years

The sounds of childhood

the tears
